We will once again be running an Introduction to Kayaking course this Spring, on Wednesday and Friday evenings from the 7th April to th 30th April 2010. The course is aimed at beginners who want to learn basic kayaking skills and be able to join club trips - river or sea. Those who wish can also undertake an assessment for their BCU/UKCC One Star Award after the course (and completing the 4 journeys you need for this award). The course will start on the 7th April and run for 4 weeks, training sessions will be held on Wednesday and Friday evenings. The cost of the course is £60 (which includes boat/equipment hire). There are a limited number of space offered on a first come first served basis. All participants must be members of the club. A minimum age of 16 is required for participants. Course now full |
