Trips and Events
Inverness Canoe Club organises a regular programme of trips throughout the year - on river, sea and loch. These vary from evening paddles down our local river, the Ness, winter paddles on Loch Ness or Loch Oich, to wild camping trips to one of the many islands off the coast of Scotland during the summer.
We also arrange courses enabling members to develop their own personal skills or to embark on the UKCC coaching pathway.
Over the summer we hope to hold several 'come and try' days at Loch Achilty, which should give all members of the family a chance to get wet!

If you have not yet embarked on a club trip, please ensure that you read the Trip Information page to ensure that you have the necessary prerequisites.
In addition to club trips, many members also arrange social paddles amongst themselves - and one of the great benefits of joining a club is to establish a network of paddling buddies for yourself. However, while these can be great opportunities to build upon or brush-up on your skills, these trips are not formally endorsed by the club.
Please note: while we warmly welcome anyone who is interested in paddlesport to join the club, for health & safety and child protection reasons, all trips and events advertised on this site are for members only, unless specified otherwise.
