Newsflash
After seeing a load of Santas running over one of the Ness Island bridges as we paddled under it last year, members of Inverness Canoe Club decided to take part...but with one small difference... No running for us...so, 2009 saw the first ever 'Santa Paddle' as part of the 'Wild Hearts' Santa Run... Despite rain, very high water levels and plenty of cold air, seven Santas made it down the Ness in kayaks - not Rudolf, though, as it was his day off!!
