Inverness Canoe Club's AGM will be held at 7pm on Friday 9th April 2010 at SNH's HQ, Great Glen House, Inverness. All club members are welcome and encouraged to attend. Agenda Any proposals for consideration at the AGM must be submitted to me as Club Secretary no later than the 26th March in order to be included on the meeting agenda. The agenda, including any papers for consideration, will be sent out to all members 1 week in advance of the meeting. Election of Committee In line with the Club Constitution (term of office for each Officer shall be 1 year from the date of election) all current Officers of the Club (‘committee’) will resign from office. Elections will be held at the AGM for the new committee. Whilst a number of current Officers are willing to restand for election, new volunteers are being sought to join the committee. Please contact myself or Malcolm Wield (President) if you are thinking of volunteering and would like to discuss this. Officer job descriptions can be supplied on request (unfortunately there are too many too attach to a single email). Any volunteers must be nominated and seconded by members of the club. Please note, only paid up members of the club are eligible to attend the AGM and vote. In order to be eligible to vote, you must be aged 16 or older. |
