Sea Kayak

Inverness

Ahoy there sea kayakers!

So you have completed the Introduction to Paddlesports course and want to know what’s next? Or you may have just joined Inverness Canoe Club and want to know what opportunities exist for sea kayaking in the club. Have you discovered that Scotland has World Class Sea Paddling. Well the good news is that there’s plenty going on, and it’s all very sociable. We try to make it as inclusive as possible and as varied as possible.

The sea paddlers meet between May and September each Wednesday evening. For more details about Wednesday evenings, please see here.

In addition to the regular Wednesday evenings, day and weekend (and occasionally longer) trips are arranged throughout the year. For more details, please see here.

The club has a fleet of 14 sea kayaks – including 2 doubles and two small boats suitable for children or smaller adults – which are available for members to hire. The fleet is made up of a range of boats, allowing you to have a go in a variety of modern sea kayaks.
